Car Games for Android: Racing, Drifting and Driving APKs

Not every car game is a race
Car games on Android split into several kinds of driving. Some are arcade street races where you tap a nitro button and win. Others are rally games with pace notes and loose surfaces, drift games about holding a slide, or relaxed driving sims where parking and traffic rules matter more than speed. Knowing which one you want saves a lot of wasted downloads.
- CarX Drift Racing 2 Mod: a drift focused game about holding long slides and tuning your car.
- CarX Rally Mod: a rally game from the same CarX line with off road stages.
- Rush Rally 3 Mod: a rally driving game played against the clock on varied stages.
- Dr. Driving Mod: a light city driving game built around missions and parking.
- Driving School Simulator Mod: a driving test style simulator for learning road rules.
- Car Simulator 2 Mod: a driving sandbox with cars to buy and open roads.
- Race Master 3D Mod: an arcade racer with fast, short races.
- Street Racing 3D Mod: a street racing game with tuning and city tracks.
How to choose by driving style
If you like sliding, go for drifting games. For straight line speed, there is drag racing, and for jumps and trick driving, stunt driving. Calmer players should try vehicle simulation, and if you prefer heavy vehicles, the truck tag is next. The broad racing tag covers everything else.
Check controls too. Tilt steering feels natural to some players and awful to others, so look for button and wheel options.
Before you install
Look at the Android version and the file size on each card. Detailed 3D cars with realistic physics can need a strong phone, and some games download extra data after the first launch. A MOD for a racing game usually means more cash for upgrades, which removes grinding but can also remove the reason to learn the tracks. Online leaderboards or events may not accept a modified build. See the MOD section, the games catalog and our guides for more.
